The Behavior of Organisms

La conducta de los organismos was published in Spanish in 1975 by the defunct Fontanella as part of the mythical collection Conducta humana directed by Ramón Bayés, Joan Masana and Josep Toro, with a translation by Lluís Flaquer i Vilardebò. We thank Lluís Flaquer for his prompt response to our re-edition request, as well as the B. F. Skinner Foundation and, especially, Konstantin Evdokimov, the foundation's operations director, for his support during the development of this project.

The original translation of La conducta de los organismos, as was the case with other Fontanella titles, benefited from an excellent team of young translators, all directly or indirectly linked to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, among whom Roser Berdagué (National Translation Award in 2009), Francesc Parcerisas, Josefa Gallofré, and Lluís Flaquer himself, who later pursued a distinguished academic career, becoming a professor of sociology at the UAB.
